چکیده

Watershed management is the study of relevant characteristics a watershed aimed at use and sustainable forests, land, water. Watersheds can be threatened by deforestation, uncontrolled logging, changes in farming systems, overgrazing, road track construction, pollution, invasion exotic plants. This article describes procedure to automatically monitor river basins Galicia, Spain, using five-band multispectral images taken an unmanned aerial vehicle several image processing algorithms. The objective determine state vegetation, especially identification areas occupied invasive species, as well detection man-made structures that occupy basin images. Since territory studied occupies extensive resulting are large, techniques algorithms have been selected for fast execution efficient computational resources. These include superpixel segmentation advanced texture methods. For each one stages method (segmentation, codebook generation, feature extraction, classification), different evaluated terms speed accuracy vegetation natural artificial Galician riversides. experimental results show proposed approach achieve this goal with precision.
